In the end I still really enjoyed the drama for sure, it just isn't my favorite. By the end everything seemed rushed and many questions were left open, nothing was really resolved except for the love lines, which was in all disappointing because the idea behind the drama and everything that led towards the end seemed good. I so loved Ji Changwook in this Healer is my all time favorite kdrama! His looks, the way he talks, the way he walks, the way his body moves; oh my God! Wish to see him again soon in an action-romantic kind of a drama like this. Though Healer only achieve less than 10% rating much less than the original 1st series (Sandglass received 40% viewer ratings) I still consider Healer a hit for the young generation of today. (though ji chang wook will be old by then and probably wont be the main character) the storyline is very nice and enjoyed the romance aspects of this drama. This is my first time watching JCW, and I think he's a young star to watch. I think that this drama has a more fulfilling ending than City Hunter. And i am telling them now, they MISSED this wonderful drama! Ji chang wook & park min young is the best couple ever! Ji Chang-Wook I fell in love with you in this movie.... I first saw you in Empress Ki but I was so engrossed with the King and Taltal that I didn't noticed you that much as the emperor... I highly recommended to watch this and you will never regret it. I womder why the rating is so low but there are so many positive feedback on it . So THANK YOU directors, writers, actors, and staff of Healer for giving us the best drama ever. and park min young you are just absolutely gorgeous! PMY she can act really, she has a nice smile, and when she cries it melts my heart. I've just seen him once in Running Man, and I remember him as an adorable good looking young man, with his shy and low profile personality. i wish Park Min Young would shave her sideburns at least though. excellent story with excellent cast and on the the top of all of these Beautiful Lovely main lead couple ji Chang Wook / Park Min Young . wish to see both of them soon in new project O if it is possible we want Healer2 . Because of the poor ratings, I guess KBS didn't even bother to extend it even for just one episode, which sucks.
I hope you can help me answer some of the confusion I had as well. Perfect cinematography, plot, acting, chemistry (NOT just the leads but all of them) and soundtrack! I wouldn't say it was a bad drama, or a waste of time to watch, but I'd skip it if you don't like to be left with more questions than answers. (Before was secret garden) i luckily found my fave type of kdrama. I especially liked his undercover scenes as Park Bong Soo because I think he has great comedic timing. Anyway, kudos to the writer, that I even research, with awesome profile.. If one dont like it, then maybe that person has bad personality/ sad upbringing hahaha ... The ratings it got definitely does not define its ability to capture you and get you hooked up. Almost perfect because there is no such thing as perfect! JCW is a handsome hottie, PMY is so cute & adorable. You have done well and I am excited to finish watching the Healer. After finishing all 20 episodes of this drama , i can now confirm you that Healer is a MUST WATCH DRAMA ! The ratings in SK may have been shit but just know it's a huge hit everywhere else. These 2 had such great chemistry on screen like it wasn't cliche and annoying! Right now i'm tryna get my friends to watch it so I can fan girl with them bc fangirling by urself is really hard??? a good cast..written and the best couple, I love them both Ji Chang Wook & Park Min Young..blessed found this drama, thank you..both of you be a couple again at next drama....saranghaee... I'm so surprised how he transformed into his character in Healer, which is amazing! I'm guessing she's naturally hairy so she can't help it but she should shave them shorter if she's going to be on TV. The script utself is already good, and it has been implemented very very well in every part on the screen's show. aeyo....i cannot recover watching healer....i watched 2 times but after i finish my mind can't recover...i m feeling sick..r great...
not once did I feel as if anything was fake or overdone. Fighting✊, make more dramas and I'll always be watching them cheerfully! Can we have a moment to realize how awesome the eternal love ost was... Ji Chang Wook, Park Min Young U guys are lovely, I felt like you guys are really in love with each other while watching this, I've watched about 40 KDramas by now. It's a spot on, direct to the point-- perfect to watch!! remember guys, as long as the main evil (elder) was caught, perhaps 90 % of wrongs doing have stopped... The ending just showed us how the Elder got busted, but as a viewer and a fan of this drama, I wanted to know how severe was the actions or the punishment given to him (and for the people who sided with him). Something happen almost at the very end of the story-where JCW was shot-like, sriously? I just noticed that most KBS produced dramas were being noticed by award giving body abroad, hopefully this is one of them..... All these dramas coming are interesting..I don't have the same feels... This is my first time of commenting kdrama, I so much love this drama. If only can turn back time and change that freaking ratings... A must rewatch over and over again, if u want sweet dreams at night, hahaha... An action, a melo and a romcom apples oranges bananas. Miss it well i really have lots of korean actors that i admire, and its my first time to watched Ji chang wook in this drama "healer" i think i'm gonna add him on my list of favorite korean actors. I can feel his anger/guilty/sadness/love through his eyes, needn't a word. The festival ended up changing its rules to state that any future film that wants to compete at Cannes must be released in French theaters. Netflix’s day-and-date release strategy, in which “Okja” would open in theaters and also be available to stream on Netflix, violates the country’s three-week window between theatrical release and streaming availability. The major theater chains take this window seriously, and it’s the driving force behind rejecting “Okja.” Given Bong’s popularity in his home country, “Okja” was expected to be one of the biggest releases of the summer in South Korea.READ MORE: ‘Okja’ Review: Bong Joon Ho Delivers His ‘E.T.’ With Delightful Tale of a Mutant Pig and the Girl Who Loves Her The controversy at Cannes was due to the fact that neither of Netflix’s competition entires, “Okja” and Noah Baumbach’s “The Meyerowitz Stories,” had French theatrical release dates.
