My mom is a Speech and Language Pathologist, and I used to go to her classroom when I was little.Since then I have babysat two kids with Aspergers and low-functioning Autism. I was involved in a lot of sports and extra curricular. My name is Kayla and I am a current Junior at Grand Valley.I'm very caring, optimistic, out going, creative and compassionate. I've been babysitting regularly for about five years for kids ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. I have been babysitting since 7th grade, and I'm going into my second year at Grand Valley State University. The family that I babysit the most consists of 3 boys. When I started to babysit them they were 2, 3 and 9.I have a lot of experience with special needs children.I am 20 years old and currently searching for a date night position, as I currently have a busy school schedule. I love playing sports with children, taking them on walks, reading to them and playing board games with them. I can bathe children, feed them and put them to bed. I have years of experience caring for children from 2 weeks old to 12 years and just about every age in between :) I have a background using cloth diapers, and disposable alike. A little more about my background and personality- I come from a large, close knit Christian family and I value family a lot. Experienced babysitter available on weeknights and most weekends.

I also love making art-anything from sculpting with clay, to painting and drawing. I'm majoring in business economics with an emphasis in real estate. For the past four years I have cared for a family of three children- one with both down syndrome and autism. These kids have challenged me and taught me patience. I have been babysitting a 4-year-old boy for the past two years.I am willing to change my class schedule for next semester if notified ahead of time (that be the time I have to submit a class schedule)!I have looked after kids from the ages of one month to 12 years.
